On September 22, 2023, Santa Barbara came alive as the One805LIVE! Festival returned with a stellar lineup, headlined by the sensational Maroon 5. Held on the breathtaking oceanside estate of Hollywood icon Kevin Costner in Summerland, this event was the crown jewel of One805's efforts to support invaluable First Responders in Santa Barbara County.

Maroon 5, the GRAMMY Award-winning band with an impressive musical journey spanning seven studio albums and numerous chart-topping hits, didn't just perform; they contributed 100% of their time and talent to this noble cause. Fresh off their Las Vegas Residency and in the midst of a world tour, Maroon 5 set the stage on fire, just as they did at the Super Bowl halftime show.

But the magic didn't stop with Maroon 5. One805LIVE! promised a star-studded lineup and surprise performances that kept attendees on the edge of their seats. Surprise guests included none other than media mogul Oprah Winfrey and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Their presence added an extra layer of excitement and significance to an already memorable evening. As part of the festival, an exclusive online auction was launched, featuring coveted items like a guitar signed by Katy Perry, a drum bearing the signature of Blink-182's Travis Barker, and a VIP concert experience with Depeche Mode. There were also unique experiences up for grabs, including a luxurious 10-day Caribbean cruise with Regent Seven Seas Cruises and a scenic flight over the stunning Santa Barbara landscape.

Every dollar raised through the concert and auction will go toward providing essential equipment for First Responders and offering critical counseling services for every firefighter in Santa Barbara County.

Richard Weston-Smith, COO of One805, underlined the importance of supporting First Responders, especially in light of recent events. He stressed, "The recent tragic events in Maui highlight our own vulnerability here in Santa Barbara County. We need to look after our First Responders and make sure they are as well-prepared as they can be."

One805 received substantial support, including a significant donation from local company Yardi, and announced other grants during the event. In addition to Maroon 5, the festival featured performances by David Pack and Alan Parsons. Elliot Easton of The Cars and Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, known for his work with Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers, also graced the stage. Kirsten Cavendish Weston Smith, Co-Founder and CEO of One805, expressed gratitude to the artists, sponsors, and the community for their unwavering support. She emphasized, "Events like One805LIVE! would not have been possible without their support."

About One805 One805 emerged in the aftermath of the Thomas fire and devastating mudslides, uniting the Santa Barbara community in the healing process. The Kick Ash Bash, the largest non-profit event in Santa Barbara history, raised over $2 million to provide counseling support to First Responders and purchase equipment to assist victims of the tragedy. Contributions to One805 can be made at One805.org, where 100% of donations go directly to First Responders and related supportive services. For more information, visit www.One805.org.
